LONDON TEXT

JAKA: “Hey, welcome to London! Every time I stand by the Thames, I feel the incredible energy and history of this place. This river isn’t just water flowing through the city; it’s like London’s memory, carrying the stories of everyone who has been here. For centuries, this river connects people from all walks of life.
One of the best ways to take in all of London is from the top of the London Eye. As you rise, the city unfolds beneath you – Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the winding Thames stretching out as far as you can see. Two famous bridges stand out from here: Westminster Bridge, with its historic arches leading straight to Parliament, and Waterloo Bridge, often called ‘the ladies’ bridge’ because it was largely built by women during World War II. From up here, you see their unique styles and feel the incredible connection they create across the river.
Then there’s Docklands – a place with such a cool transformation. It used to be London’s main port, where ships from all over the world would dock. Today, it’s a modern area with tall glass buildings and a totally different vibe.

ALEKS: And then, of course, there are the bridges. Each one has its own unique story. There’s Millennium Bridge, the sleek, modern one, leading straight to Tate Modern. When you walk across it, you get these incredible views of the river and city skyline. The next one is Tower Bridge, with its huge towers, feels like something out of a fairytale – you can’t help but take a picture. Crossing it, you can almost imagine all the people who have walked here over the centuries.
London is amazing because it captures the vibrant energy of the present. Whether you’re standing by the Thames or looking out from the London Eye, you feel part of something dynamic and alive. It’s like stepping into the heart of a city bursting with life, where every moment feels full of connection and excitement.
